why be a member

If you think a senior center like Senior Action is a place where a bunch of people, much older than yourself, sit around and play bingo, then it is time for you to experience Senior Action. We believe that retirement and growing older is not a period signifying the end, but rather an exclamation point conveying the best, most wonderful time of your life. There is finally time to enjoy all of the things you couldn’t when you were working and raising a family.

But, the most important reason to get involved in Senior Action is because it makes you healthier. Research has proven that compared with their peers, senior center participants have higher levels of health, social interaction, and life satisfaction. Why would you NOT become a member?
